To increase revenue, clients, and new business opportunities in all company service offerings in a designated territory with the focus on new accounts.
This position is responsible for new business development (75%) and client relationship management (25%), requiring the successful candidate to prospect
and develop new business as well as increase account share within existing client base.
Our client is a highly respected and innovative Customs Broker, Freight Forwarder and related solutions provider in Canada.

- Set and attain sales goals including annual revenue quotas developing a strategic business plan that will include the
  identification of high to medium potential accounts.
- Conduct thorough needs assessment of prospects north-bound/south bound cross-border supply chain needs.
- Cold call companies & analyze for business fit, stability, & qualify each prospect.
- Research company, cold call contacts, and network through the prospective client to determine the decision makers.
- Establish extensive customer relationships at multi departmental and executive levels.
- Manage sales prospecting for new sales leads, securing new accounts, following up until revenue is coming in and maintain
  contact to ensure client retention.
- Quote and secure business using proper pricing structure and schedules.
- Interact with all business units to satisfy existing customer or potential customer needs or to assist in resolving customer issues.
- Work closely with service teams in successful implementation of new clients and ensuring proper communication among stakeholders.
- Become a member of a selected and approved association to gain new contacts, business opportunities and promote the company's service offerings.
- Attend and effectively participate in Trade Shows.
- Establish network relationships within the industry with the goal to drive new revenue opportunities.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings.
- Travel as required.
- Other duties as may be assigned.

- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience selling service oriented solutions to corporate clients in Customs Brokerage.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), customer service and presentation skills.
- Ability to listen to what the customer wants
- Able to prospect and secure business
- Well organized and results driven
- Self motivated and self starter
- Excellent computer skills
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Professional attitude, appearance, and mannerism

EDUCATION:

- Post Secondary Diploma in related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Professional Sales Designation (preferred by not mandatory)
- CCS designation or equivalent (preferred by not mandatory)
