This Mississauga based company in the airport area has a very well-established

including forwarding, inventory and logistics management and distribution.

You will be responsible for assisting the Ocean Freight Manager in the daily running
of the ocean freight department, providing a superior level of customer service.
Experience working in all aspects of international freight forwarding is a requirement.
You must be an independent worker and be able to work as part of a diverse team.
You must have the ability to balance a busy desk and supervise a small staff. 
You are a self-starter and proven problem solver.

You may be presently supervising a small dept or be a senior operations agent with
solid Ocean Imports knowledge and a keen desire to take on a progressive career move.

Strong customer service skills partnered with extensive operational knowledge is a must.

Responsibilities:

* Handling all aspects of Ocean  Freight Imports operational procedures.
  Strong Operations knowledge required; FCL and LCL, Worldwide

* Handling documentation activities of Ocean Imports

* Provide proactive customer service with the company's clients.

* Provide technical expertise to staff on all matters relating to Ocean Freight

* Work within established corporate guidelines to achieve departmental goals



- 4 to 6 years of Ocean Imports experience in International Freight Forwarding in Canada

- Organized, self-motivated, high-energy and focused on the future

· Growth and development oriented; always striving to improve

· Organized, self-motivated; excellent communications skills




- Very well-established name, reputation and market profile, stable and expanding
