KEY POINTS:

- This is a hunter/developer/closer sales position where the emphasis is on developing new and
  profitable revenue streams using your market awareness, generated and self-generated leads
- Translating your passion to understand the customer's business into impressive sales results
- Define specific target industries and customers and the approach to cultivate them
- Determine the sales resources and strategies required to meet business objectives
- Implement sales programs and support tools

- New business development responsibilities

- Selling the firm’s services at a profitable level

- Selling logistics solutions adaptable to a customer's unique needs

- Supporting the strategic business plan of a  customer focused organization

- International Freight Logistics, Imports and Exports, Ocean and Air freight and Customs Brokerage.

- You sell and effectively communicate new services by identifying the customer needs and providing true business solutions.

- You develop joint business solutions with the customer and the company’s operations, ensuring participants have a true 
  understanding and support the proposed solution. 

- Forecasting and Budgeting

- Analyze industry market trends

- Provide monthly projected sales forecasts and analyze current results

- Support Operations management in annual sales budget process

- Analyze new and existing business through the use of the Company Pricing Model

 

- At least 5-10 years of international, transborder freight forwarding and customs brokerage sales development
  experience in the GTA area

- Must have superior interpersonal and selling skills. 

- Must be an effective communicator, listener and proactive with customers. 

- The proven ability to source new and profitable business opportunities.

- Aggressive, results-oriented personality

- Prospecting, Negotiating and Closing

- Experienced in negotiating and working with overseas agents

- A strong understanding of logistics, including customs brokerage and multiple modes of transportation 

- A strong understanding of supply chain strategies.

- Excellent communications skills, including written and presentation skills.

- A record of success in previous positions.

- Proven time and territory management skills.
