Customs Brokerage Account Executive - Eastern Townships - Quebec

Well established Canadian Customs Broker and Logistics Solutions provider located in Quebec
is seeking a qualified Customs Brokerage business developer for a territory that includes the
Eastern Townships region - from the South Shore to the Eastern Townships

The Account Executive is responsible to obtain new customs brokerage (and freight business) and to provide unmatched
service to existing accounts. In addition, he or she will be involved in developing a growth plan for the region.

Responsibilities

- Prospect and market research to find new sales opportunities in the sales territory.
- Work with Inside Sales Department to build
  strong relationships that lead to new sales opportunities.
- Meet with prospects to determine requirements and whether or not the prospective client is a fit.
- Target potential business customers within the assigned territory.
- Negotiate outcomes which are mutually beneficial to company and the customer
- Develop solutions for strategic service issues to gain new business
- Prepare and present proposals to potential clients
- Review and negotiate pricing
- Deliver on service plan for existing customers
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge and Educational Requirements

- A well-established knowledge of the sales territory extending from Montreal's South Shore
  to the Eastern Townships
- College and or University Degree is preferred
- CCS designation or related industry credentials are a definite asset
- Minimum three (3) years in customs brokerage sales
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
- Self-disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and/or as part of a dynamic team.
- Strong prospecting skills and negotiating/closing skills is a must
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required - fluently bilingual
- Problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail and analytical ability is required
