- Responsible for inventory monitoring/control and placing replenishment orders with suppliers.  

- The candidate will be expected to closely monitor customer product demand and proactively adjust
  inventory and procurement levels as needed in close communication with Sales and Product Managers.  

- The candidate will work closely with domestic and foreign suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders and
  resolve issues that may arise during the ordering and delivery process.  

- The candidate will be expected to run and analyze several system generated reports as part of their normal
  daily and weekly responsibilities to help make informed inventory and purchasing decisions.  

- The candidate may also be required to work on special  projects or be involved in regular support tasks for the
  company outside of their regular responsibilities.

  

- University degree education.
- Specialization in inventory management and/or procurement would be an asset.  
- Minimum 5 years experience in role involving inventory control and procurement.
- Detail oriented and proven analytical skills and comfortable to work with spreadsheets/reports.
- PC literate and experience working with SAP or Oracle/JD Edwards environment.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, problem solving skills and able to multi-task and follow-up.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and able to contribute to a high performance team culture.
- Knowledge of Incoterms as well as Claims process within Company Standards.

Actively pursue a better understanding of export logistics process through self-study, as well as through
courses and seminars presented by the Company and other approved sources. i.e. Ciffa Module I.
Improve understanding and knowledge of Company’s Export system, both its basic and advanced features.
Receive certification of competency in these applications.
