- Rates quotations for Import/Export Ocean and Air Freight

- Support completion of price and service quotation, bids, proposals, RFQ, RFI on behalf of the
  operations and sales departments
 
- Gather customer feedback from sales colleagues regarding comparative position of rates with competitors,
  gather current market data for comparable service offering
 
- Ensure compliance with corporate, regional, district, and department policies and procedures

- Cargo Agency development activities; sales administration and records-keeping
 
- Respond to e-mail and telephone requests in a timely manner
 
- Escalate issues to manager if appropriate
 
- Any additional task or activity as requested by management



- 2 to 3 years relevant work experience in pricing or rates quotations

- Knowledge of International Freight Forwarding Documentation and Operations

- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word

- Fluent in English , written and spoken

- Able to plan and organize a complex process from start to finish

- Able to work effectively in a time constrained environment and meet strictly
  enforced daily deadlines

- Able to organize and prioritize tasks, conceptual thinking, ability to formulate
  creative solutions

- Willing to communicate with customers and colleagues and provide excellent
  customer service

- Actively listen to what customers have to say, restating information to ensure understanding
