A well-established company for over 40 years, they are expanding their operations into Canada, opening
a new office in the Toronto region.

You have an unusual mix of experience - strong international freight forwarding, combined with an active
Canadian customs brokerage license. All candidates must have these twin qualifications of strong freight
and customs experience.

This is a ground-up start-up, an exciting opportunity to establish and grow a well-respected new player
in the Canadian marketplace.

This is a complete start-up: banking, leasing of space and equipment and utilities
Developing a business plan, including budget projections and financial planning, in conjunction
with assistance from the parent organization
Apply for the firm's Customs Brokerage License, becoming the Qualified Officer for Canada
Establish a business development plan, determining a sales projection budget and identifying
viable business opportunities
In due course, hiring of operations and sales staff

5 to 10 years International Freight Forwarding experience in the GTA region - air and ocean freight
5 to 10 years Customs Brokerage experience and holder of a current and valid Custom's Broker's License
Business Development experience in international freight and customs brokerage
Customs Brokerage Operations experience - processes and procedures for rating/releasing
