They are seeking a like-minded, experienced industry professional whose personal reputation is long-established
and whose business philosophy closely reflects their own. They want the right combination of hunter and farmer
in sales development; they concentrate on higher-end business and develop relationships based on their ability

To successfully take on this challenge, you will likely have a minimum of 15-20 years business development
experience in freight, customs or logistics. You will have the ability to advocate for your clients and have the
proven skills required to advise them and guide them in making business decisions that make sense for their
unique needs. Your extensive experience in the industry would be a welcome addition to this firm's proven

Responsibilities

- Develop productive long-term customer relationships within targeted industry sectors and markets

- Consult with customers to determine their unique transportation needs

- Creating innovative solutions, drawing on experience and a depth of industry knowledge which facilitates
  the ability to advise customers on cost-effective methods and plans to serve their needs

- Identify opportunities for companies to outsource their transportation needs, combining flexibility
  and adapting the company's services to solve key customer problems

- Build up the firm's business in the region in preparation for assuming expanded responsibilities in the
  near future

- Please note that this position does not have a sales team reporting

Q
ualifications

- A minimum of 10-15 years of sales development experience in freight, customs and logistics
  in the general GTA region

- A proven ability to create profitable customer-focused solutions

- A track record of long-term success in creating business relationships

- Focused on results; aware of the competition and able to create innovative solutions
  for present and future customers in the region

- Aggressive in discovering new opportunities for profitable growth

- A consultative approach to selling and customer development and retention


Compensation

Base salary range is open to negotiation. You are likely accustomed to earning in the six-figures
with incentives. A flexible and lucrative compensation plan can be tailored to individual track-records
and accomplishments.
